Forest Essentials Lavender & Neroli Light Day Lotion

Today we will be reviewing Forest Essentials Lavender & Neroli Light Day Lotion product as summers are here and hunt for a perfect day lotion begins.

As I have a sensitive and acne prone skin I try to use minimal products on my face. As suggested by the store consultant at the Forest Essentials store I purchased this product. 


What the product claims:
  • Pure lavender water which is therapeutic and calming, nourishing oat kernel extract and stimulating neroli oil combine with zinc, known for its healing and regenerative qualities, to firm and clarify the skin.
  • Especially customized for Normal to Oily skin with SPF 25 that offers long-lasting protection from the harsh rays of the sun.
  • The skin remains moist and well hydrated, without being oily.
  • This Light Day Lotion is a silky light weight lotion that steeps into the skin easily leaving it soft and smooth with a non-greasy feel.
  • It contains Ayurvedic herbs like Ashwagandha and Gokharu along with Almond, Wheat germ and Olive oils which not only provide nourishment but also prevent the skin from the damaging effect of free radicals.
  • Regular use of this light day lotion helps protect your skin from sun damage.

Calendula, Ashwagandha, Gokharu Satawari, Vitamin E, Almond Oil, Kokum Butter, Organic Beeswax, Tulsi, Nagkeshar, Lavender Essential Oil, Neroli Essential Oil.

My Experience:

I use 1-2 pumps of this product and it pumps the right amount each time. I find it to be the best product for humid conditions as summers are almost here and I try to use minimal make up on face. It comes with SPF 25 so it provides dual actions i.e. of a moisturizer and sunscreen. It leaves my skin fresh for the whole day giving me a non-greasy look which is best for oily/combination skin types. And I absolutely love the lavender fragrance of the lotion.


Pros:
  • Natural product with no chemicals
  • Light weight and non-greasy
  • Soothing fragrance of lavender
  • Dual use of a moisturizer and SPF
  • Gives a nice glow
Cons:
  • Expensive for 40 ml. The brand keeps increasing the price every year!
  • It doesn’t give a matte look if you prefer that
  • Opaque bottle so you will not know how much lotion you are left with
