Avene Cleanance Gel

Today we are reviewing Avene Cleanance Gel, which I have been using since a month. I was facing acne, breakouts and oiliness so I bought this one and it worked wonders!

What the Product Claims:
Soap-free gel cleanser for face and body harnesses a combination unique ingredients that eliminate impurities and excess oil without stripping the skin.
Ingredients:
Avene Thermal Spring Water (Avene Aqua). Water (Aqua). Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate. Zinc Coceth Sulfate. Polysorbate 20. Sodium Cocoamphoacetate. Ceteareth-60 Myristyl Glycol. Peg-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil. Citric Acid. Disodium Edta. Fragrance (Parfum). Glyceryl Laurate. Green 5 (Ci 61570). Sodium Benzoate. Sodium Hydroxide. Yellow 5 (Ci 19140). Zinc Gluconate. 

Product suitable for:
  • Acne-prone skin
  • Oily skin
  • Skin which is on acne treatment

Review:
The product comes in a transparent bottle with a different style of the cap, which needs to be twisted to dispose the product. It is a blue colored product with a refreshing smell, which I absolutely love it. Be careful while dispensing the product, as it is quite runny. It is gel based and soap free which produces a gentle lather with water.
It helps in cleaning the pores and removes the dirt and oiliness, which you will feel with the first wash itself. It has a soothing and a refreshing mild fragrance and leaves your skin gentle and smooth. It doesn’t make your skin too dry or matte. It is a 200 ml product which I have been using this since a month and not even half has been completed I am sure it will last for 3.5 to 4 months.
Overall, it is an amazing product for cleaning the pores and reducing the breakouts. I would highly recommend it for acne and oily skin.

Pros:
  • Soap free and gel based makes it best for oily and acne prone skin
  • Cleans the pores effectively 
  • Helps maintain the pH balance
  • Goes a little long
  • Contains thermal spring water which soothes the skin

Cons:
  •  A bit costly (Although, if you buy it from nykaa you get reward points :P)
