Here comes our second review and the product is "Just Herbs Gotukola Indian Ginseng Rejuvenating Beauty Elixir".

After doing a lot of research about the organic serums in Indian market I have picked this one.  Let’s get started… And yeah Gotukola means ‘Brahmi’ aka ‘Brahma-Manduki’, ayurvedic names in India and ‘fountain of youth’ in Chinese.

What the product Claims:

• This multi-tasking night serum is a synergistic blend of treasured Indian herbs to nourish and restore a natural glow and youthfulness to tired, ageing and pigmented skin.
• Plant polyphenols, carotenoids and flavonoids present in these precious botanicals prevent and reverse free-radical and DNA damage and block the inflammatory changes that result during the skin ageing process.

Ingredients:

Gotukola ext 4% indian ginseng ext. 4%, garden cress ext.1%, rosehip seed oil (vit c source) 2%, wheat germ oil (vit E source)1%,eucalyptus leaf ext 1% fumittory ext. 2%, liquorice ext. 2%, indian senna ext (botanical alternative to hyaluronic acid) 1%,naagkesar ext. 2%, certified organic cold pressed safflower oil (vit E source) 2%, colloidal oats 3%, certified organic cold pressed moringa seed oil (vit A & C source) 2%, allantoin 0.1% (plant derived) Other ingredients: certified organic aloevera juice, certified organic veg. glycerine, potassium sorbate, soy lecithin, sodium benzoate, natural preservative blend of herbs and essential oils.

How to use:

After cleansing and toning (optional, but one should follow this the procedure. Toning brings back the pH level in the skin after cleansing…. A great tip for all you girls) apply it on the skin. Or else can be mixed with the night cream

Review:

Elixir Serum looks like a cream based product but when you touch you’ll feel like a mix of gel and water texture. It is very light weight textured serum. It is non-sticky and absorbs immediately into the skin and Oh My God this is so perfect serum for the oily/combination skin.  It took 5-7 days to show the results (may vary from person to person). All my blemishes faded away by 70% and gives you the clearer skin. This serum made my skin soft and supple.
My skin is now bright and firm. And at some point of time I felt that it gave me sculpted look (which is every girl’s dream :P). And in the morning the face will be very much normal and neither oily nor dry, glowing and fresh (just like you’ve washed the face). It has reduced pigmentation but not completely. Another added advantage is you can mix it with the night cream. I have tried it couple of times but liked applying directly on the face. The packaging is very travel friendly comes up with a dropper, which is very hygienic.
